• Trey Lyles - F - Denver Nuggets

Trey Lyles (left hamstring strain) has been ruled out for Monday and is unlikely to return on Denver's three-game road trip.

If that holds, it'll mean eight straight absences for Lyles. There's no need to keep holding on in fantasy formats.

Fantasy News

  • Kyrie Irving - G - Boston Celtics

Kyrie Irving dropped 31 points with seven rebounds, six assists, four threes and two steals in 35 minutes in Saturday's 117-124 loss to the Hornets.

The Celtics lost steam in the fourth quarter which led to the Hornets stealing this game on their home floor. Despite the loss, it doesn't take away the fact that Irving is still a top-10 player this season and fantasy owners should be wary once the team decides he needs to rest in some games before the playoffs starts.

  • Jayson Tatum - F - Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum shot just 5-of-17 from the field for 12 points in Saturday's loss to the Hornets, although he did add six rebounds, four assists, a block and two threes in 37 minutes.

He was able to get his touches tonight with Gordon Hayward out but didn't get to take advantage of it because of the inefficient night. Tatum is currently a top-130 player right now and fantasy owners should take a chance on him to explode if they have a streaming spot open.

  • Marcus Morris - F - Boston Celtics

Marcus Morris posted 15 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three threes in Saturday's loss to the Hornets.

Fantasy owners would love to see this type of all-around game every night but the increased minutes was a direct result of Gordon Hayward's (concussion protocol) absence tonight. He's been hovering outside the top-100 and is not a must-own player unless you have a streaming spot open on your roster.

  • Jaylen Brown - F - Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown put up 29 points albeit in Saturday's loss to the Hornets, going 10-of-13 from the field with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and five 3-pointers.

The absence of Gordon Hayward (concussion protocol) gave Brown the opportunity to hoist up more shots and be able to put up all-around stat lines like the one he did tonight. He's a good streamer in almost category but don't expect these type of numbers nightly.

  • Pau Gasol - C/F - Milwaukee Bucks

Pau Gasol (left ankle soreness) is expected to miss a month of action.

He's not fantasy relevant in any way at this point of the season so this update shouldn't shake up most fantasy teams.

  • Robert Williams III - C/F - Boston Celtics

Robert Williams (back contusion) will not return in Saturday's game against the Hornets.

Williams ends the night with two points, three rebounds, one assist and two blocks before heading to the locker room. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the severity of his injury.

  • Kris Dunn - G - Chicago Bulls

Kris Dunn (back) will start in Saturday's matchup against the Jazz.

It's great to see that the back issue he suffered isn't serious enough for him to sit this one out. Expect a lot of touches coming his way especially since Zach LaVine (thigh) and Otto Porter (shoulder) will be out for tonight.

  • Salah Mejri - C - Dallas Mavericks

Salah Mejri (illness) will not play on Saturday against the Warriors.

Mejri has been a decent bet for per-minute blocks lately but fantasy owners will need to look for alternatives tonight. Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber should split the center minutes against Golden State.

  • Zach LaVine - G - Chicago Bulls

Zach LaVine (right thigh contusion) has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Jazz.

LaVine was questionable coming into today and went through a pregame warmup but isn't 100 percent, and with the Bulls having nothing to play for it makes sense to sit him down. So far the team seems to value its competitive spirit as part of their effort to build culture, so we wouldn't anticipate a full-on shutdown for LaVine unless his latest injury heals slowly. Antonio Blakeney might start again but Shaq Harrison is the guy that most fantasy owners will look at given his steals production.

  • Robert Williams III - C/F - Boston Celtics

Robert Williams went back into the locker room after falling on a putback dunk attempt in Saturday's game against the Hornets.

It could be a number of things — back, hip, or even a concussion evaluation after Williams took a nasty spill. He was making his first career start tonight and hopefully he'll be okay moving forward.
