• Tristan Thompson
    C, Cleveland Cavaliers

Tristan Thompson scored eight points with 11 rebounds during Sunday's Game 1 road loss to the Celtics.

Thompson played his usual role and brought the level of energy off the bench that propelled the Cavs last series. He checked in the game and bridged the 12-4 rebounding gap to 16-12, so he was helping his team try to match the Celtics in rebounds. He shot 4-of-6 from the field and came into the game over Kevin Love to guard Al Horford in the first quarter. Thompson showed up and played at the level he typically does, so this loss is not so much on him as it is on many other players on the team that played below expectations.
