Troy Daniels kept his groove going on Saturday, finishing with a career-best 31 points in a win over the Lakers.
For the third consecutive game, Daniels received playing time and the fourth year guard responded in a big way once again. Daniels finished the contest 12-of-23 from the field, including six made triples. The Grizzlies are experimenting with their backcourt in the wake of Mike Conley going down, and Daniels has taken advantage. If he can continue shooting the ball at an efficient rate, Daniels could carve out a regular role moving forward.
