Jonas Valanciunas dominated Germany on Wednesday, dropping 27 points, 15 rebounds and a block in 32 minutes of playing time in a Lithuanian win.
Valanciunas had had three lackluster performances to kick off the tournament but now has massive double-doubles in two straight. The first one against Ukraine came with a grain of salt but the Germans are much stiffer competition. We’ll see if he’s actually on a roll when Lithuania starts taking on more heavy hitters in the next stage. He’s a top-75 play but a lack of playing time really leaves him with no margin for error. Valanciunas is a helpful fantasy player but there’s limited upside.
