Tyler Johnson scored a team-high 23 points off the bench and added three assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in the Heat’s loss to the Spurs on Wednesday night.
Johnson was fantastic on a night where he received starter’s minutes off the bench. This was his first double-digit scoring effort of the season and is the type of performance Johnson owners were expecting when they drafted him. His scoring can be inconsistent and his minutes will fluctuate based on if his shot is falling early in games.
