    Despite the hot start to Canaan’s Suns career, we’ve seen throughout his career that his effectiveness wanes when the shots aren’t dropping. That can be said for pretty much every player on earth but Canaan simply can’t be used in lieu of a traditional point guard like Ulis if the jumper isn’t wet. It makes him a short-term play and keeps Ulis in hold territory despite his recent swoon. He’s the better long-term play.
