Tyreke Evans‘ 20-point streak may have been snapped at six in Wednesday’s win, but fantasy owners should still be thrilled with 18 points, six rebounds, nine assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer.
Evans is thriving as the Grizzlies’ sixth man and owners can overlook a 6-of-15 shooting night considering his strong all-around production. He’s obviously not going to keep up this top-30 pace and makes for a decent sell high guy but at this point it seems like he’s hell bent on returning standard league value this year. The Grizz need Evans to buoy their second unit and don’t have a ton of secondary ball-handling options; at least none as potentially dynamic as Evans. Congratulations if you plucked him off the waiver wire early on.
