Tyus Jones scored only two points on Wednesday night but chipped in nine assists and two steals in the Wolves’ 126-114 win over the Hawks.
Jones certainly benefited from being on the floor with an unconscious Karl-Anthony Towns, finding KAT enough times to add up to a nine-assist effort, one more than his starting point guard teammate, Jeff Teague. Teague came away with 11 points, eight assists and two steals against the Hawks. Despite not being the starter, Jones is making a good habit of contributing. This is his fourth game with four-plus assists and two-plus steals since the beginning of February.
