Tyus Jones scored 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting (11-of-13 from the line) with three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 36 minutes in Sunday’s semi-final win over the Suns.
With Kris Dunn (concussion) out, Jones ran the show and led his 24th ranked Wolves to the finals. The second year player was clearly one of the more polished players on the floor, using his smarts and quickness to get the line 13 times. Unfortunately for Jones, he still won’t be a fantasy option with Dunn and Ricky Rubio firmly ahead of him on the depth chart. Even if he wasn’t buried on the depth chart, he doesn’t contribute enough in threes and the defensive stats to be of much value anyways.
