The Pacers announced that Victor Oladipo will undergo season-ending surgery after rupturing the quad tendon in his right knee.
It's an absolutely awful beak for Oladipo and the Pacers, who were asserting themselves as one of the top teams in the conference. Oladipo can be dropped in re-draft formats, while Darren Collison, Tyreke Evans, Cory Joseph and Aaron Holiday will all play more going forward. Collison is the best bet for fantasy value and could settle inside the top-60, while Evans and Joseph could become fringe 12-team assets. Expect more shots for everyone on the team as they absorb Oladipo's massive scoring burden. You can give all of the already-relevant Pacers a solid boost. Ruptured quad tendons aren't exactly common in basketball, and the last player to sustain the injury was Tony Parker. He was at the end of his career, however, and it remains to be seen how this impacts Oladipo's athleticism and burst when he does return.
