Vincent Poirier underwent successful surgery this morning to fix a fracture of the proximal phalanx on his right pinkie finger and he is expected to return to the court in 4-6 weeks.
The timetable offers some optimism that Poirier could be back before the initial 6 week prognosis. Still, he is far behind in the depth chart and Daniel Theis with Enes Kanter will continue handling the center minutes in Boston.
