Dwyane Wade is planning to report to Bulls training camp amidst buyout rumors, according to a report from K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Current speculation has Wade being bought out by the rebuilding Bulls but he’ll be attending training camp until that move is made official. Coach Hoiberg said that it’s still too early to know Wade’s role for the upcoming season but he’s likely to start for as long as Zach LaVine is injured. Once he returns, it’s possible that Wade shifts to a sixth man role. As long as he’s starting for the talent-deficient Bulls, Wade figures to be worth a mid-late round selection but would quickly lose value if he comes off the bench. Joining a new team would also raise questions about his role and workload. With playing time concerns on top of that, Wade is one of fantasy’s riskier picks this year.
