The owner of the Warriors, Joe Lacob, plans to extend the contracts of Klay Thompson and Draymond Green this summer.
"All good things cost a lot. We're going to try to sign Klay and Draymond to extensions this summer. They've earned the right to do whatever they want; maybe they want to wait until free agency. I can't control that. But we'll do whatever we can to keep them," Lacob told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne. Klay's father said he is not going anywhere, but that they might wait until 2019 to sign the extension. Their fantasy impact will likely not take a hit no matter if they stay or leave, but their role could increase if they changed teams so that could essentially help their fantasy value. Nevertheless, it is likely that both Klay and Draymond will return to the Warriors to continue the dominant dynasty that has evolved over the past few seasons.
