The Warriors will start Ky Bowman, Jordan Poole, Glenn Robinson, Eric Paschall, Willie Cauley-Stein vs. the Hornets on Saturday.
Yikes. This looks like it could fathomably be Santa Cruz Warriors' bench unit, but this is what the former three-time champions have been reduced to after losing a number of key players during the offseason and suffering significant injuries early on in 2019-20. As for this starting five, pick a name out of a hat. Bowman is a bit of an unknown, but he put up an intriguing line with 3 steals two games ago. Poole is a chucker who can score and hit threes with little to no peripheral stats. Paschall looks like he belongs in the NBA, but doesn't have the highest upside. Cauley-Stein will demolish your free throws and won't provide good blocks for a center. If you're the type to gamble, all of these players should probably be rostered, but predicting who will emerge out of the pack right now is folly.
