Wendell Carter Jr. had problems dealing with the immovable mountain known as Steven Adams and finished Friday’s win with just six points, two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal.

Adams is a load for a smaller guy like WCJ, so he should be better his next game out. Its worth mentioning that one of his two blocks was a nasty fourth quarter rejection of a Russell Westbrook dunk (video in link). The beefier Robin Lopez stuck in new coach Jim Boylen’s rotation and chipped in 11 points and five boards in the win. Lopez should be left on the wire.
