Clippers forward Wes Johnson will opt into his player option for the 2018-2019 season.
Johnson played 20.1 minutes per game for the Clippers this past season and averaged 5.4 points, 1.0 steal and 0.8 blocks per game. The Clippers dealt with a number if injuries that allowed the former fourth overall pick to get more playing time than usual. He is nothing more than a defensive specialist off the bench, but can have value in steals and blocks for stretches when he gets enough playing time. Deep leaguers (20-teams and up) can look to add him at the end of their drafts. This is the last year of his contract so he'll have some value on the market as an expiring contract and could be dealt.
