• Will Barton
    SG, Denver Nuggets

Will Barton tied for the team lead in scoring on Thursday, scoring 13 points to go with eight rebounds, four assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in 22 minutes of action off the bench.

Earlier in the day Mike Malone said that nothing was settled in the battle to determine the starting small forward, and Barton had the best box score performance of the candidates tonight. His scoring punch may make sense in a reserve role since he can lead the second unit offensively, but you can imagine that Barton is aiming to take a starting job that he lost because of injury last season. He remains an upside play in the final few rounds of drafts in case he recaptures his old top-100 form.
