Adrian Wojnarowski reported that with Dwight Howard’s buyout from the Nets complete, he’ll sign a 2-year/$11 million deal with a player option for the second year.
Howard’s fit in Washington is far from clear as they previously used Marcin Gortat as a pick-and-roll screener while Dwight’s hatred of running the p&r is well known. Additionally D-12 is known to amass large numbers of rebounds and slow the game down which might deliver slight hits the the Wizards’ main guys. We’ll have preseason to better see how Dwight impacts his new teammates.
