J.J. Redick has agreed to a one-year deal to return to the Sixers, reportedly around $12-13 million.
Redick was a great fit with the Sixers last year and turned in a strong season in both fantasy and reality, turning in career-highs in scoring, 3-pointers and rebounds while dishing the second-most assists of his career, so this is good news for his fantasy prospects. After losing Marco Belinelli and Ersan Ilyasova in the early moments of free agency, the Sixers needed to add (or at least retain) some 3-point shooters to help space the floor. If Redick can turn in a repeat performance of last season he's in line for a nice deal next summer when the market is expected to be far better for players.
