The Grizzlies will begin listening to trade offers for Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Grizzlies have been adamant for years that their current core can compete, but the team's recent slide may have finally shown them that they're just not strong enough to be a true title contender with the current roster. A deal would signal the end of an era in Memphis, one that was largely successful despite some playoff shortcomings. A trade might also be good news for fantasy owners, as a move to a contender would drastically decrease the shutdown risk for Conley or Gasol. Both figure to play prominent roles on their hypothetical new teams, so aside from some initial growing pains the fantasy value shouldn't be all that different. The Grizzlies are reportedly focusing on reshaping the roster around Jaren Jackson Jr., who has a fantastic outlook for the rest of the season.
