According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Raptors and Norman Powell have agreed to a 4-year, $42 million contract extension.
This is good news for Powell, who vastly improved on his rookie season last year. He’s still only 23 years old and he’s one of the Raptors’ youngest pieces. Last year he averaged 8.4 points, 1.1 assists and 2.2 rebounds on .449 percent shooting in just 18.0 minutes per game. If Powell could get more minutes, it would boost his fantasy value but he’s stuck behind DeMar DeRozan in Toronto.
