According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical, the Sixers seem to be the favorites to sign J.J. Redick away from the Clippers.
With both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul likely demanding max contracts this summer, the Clippers are likely to lose out on retaining Redick who is rumored to be seeking a $20 million per season contract. At 33 years of age this summer, J.J. is likely looking at his last large NBA contract and may look to cash in with the Sixers who are flush with cap space and in dire need of a shooter in their backcourt. Redick and his 41.5% career 3PT% would fit in nicely with limited shooters Ben Simmons and T.J. McConnell. The Nets and Knicks have also expressed interest but the Sixers seem to have the inside track at this point.
