Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Nets will receive a protected future first-round pick from the Warriors as part of the presumed D'Angelo Russell sign-and-trade.
The Warriors dealt their 2024 first-rounder to Memphis in the Andre Iguodala deal last night, so Brooklyn should expected to get a pick in 2022. The Nets got Kevin Durant and a first-rounder out of it, so it's a good deal for them, while the Warriors are rumored to be set on trading Russell at some point in the future. He now comes with cost certainty, so it'll be interesting to see when that deal comes down and what the Dubs will be able to recoup in draft capital.
