Zaza Pachulia tallied 11 points, nine rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block on 4-of-6 shooting in 25 minutes in the Warriors Game 1 win over the Spurs in the WCF.
Zaza contributed exactly what the Warriors needed in this game, he did his work on offense while also not giving up too many offensive rebounds or buckets in the paint on defense. He was also efficient from the line, going 3-of-4 and finishing with the second highest plus-minus on the team behind Kevin Durant with a +11. Zaza’s play will be crucial if the Warriors want to continue their undefeated postseason and make it to the Finals for the third straight year. He’ll need to continue to play his position well and not give up too many points on defense, but if he can do that the Warriors will have a pretty good shot at advancing, especially if the Spurs are missing Kawhi Leonard.
