• C.J. Miles will decline his player option for the upcoming 2017-18 season per ESPN.

Miles was slated for approximately $4.8 million in the final year of a four year, $18 million deal.  He will have no trouble landing a new deal and depending on where he ends up, Miles could again be a useful three point specialist or an end of the bench type guy. He also served as a stretch four in Indiana’s smaller lineups, so he’ll be a nice fit for someone in today’s increasingly fast, three point heavy NBA.
