The Celtics have reportedly extended qualifying offers to Jared Sullinger and Tyler Zeller, making them both restricted free agents.
The Celtics now have the right to match any offer either player receives. Given the crowd in Boston’s front court, both players would likely see expanded roles in new situations. Sullinger was a solid contributor last season, and will likely still be draftable if the Celtics retain him. Seller, on the other hand, is only an option in the deepest of leagues regardless of setting.
