The Hornets announced the two-way signings of UNC star Marcus Paige and Mangok Mathiang on Tuesday.
Paige was drafted 55th overall by the Nets in the 2016 draft and bounced around since. He averaged 12.2 points and 2.2 assists for the Jazz G-league team last season. After playing for the Wolves in the Las Vegas league, Paige finally landed near his hometown with the Hornets. Mathiang went undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft after a workout for the Hornets. Both signed two-way contracts, meaning they will primarily play for the Hornets G-league team.
