Jake Layman has agreed to a three-year, $11.5 million deal and will be headed to the Wolves in a sign-and-trade.
Layman was a restricted free agent but got crowded out on the wings with Portland adding Kent Bazemore and re-signing Rodney Hood. He's coming off a career year, setting career-highs across the board while emerging as a quality rotation presence for the Blazers. Layman figures to play a similar depth role for the Wolves and will only be a deep-league asset.
