It has been reported that Julyan Stone and the Italian League champion, Reyer Venezia, have agreed to part ways and he is expected to sign a two-year guaranteed contract with the Hornets.
The 6’6 undrafted point guard just signed a two-year deal with Reyer Venezia in July but has apparently convinced them to let him go. Stone played sparingly for the Nuggets and Raptors over the course of 47 career NBA-games. He has also played in Turkey and three different G-League teams. Last season, on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, he averaged an impressive 7.9 points 6.0 rebounds, 8.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.1 triples. He is in line to start the season as the third-string point-guard behind Kemba Walker and Michael Carter-Williams, so he can be ignored in most formats.
