According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, re-signing Luke Babbitt likely won’t be a priority for the Heat this summer.
The Heat are going to prioritize re-signing James Johnson and Dion Waiters, so Babbitt will have to wait if he wants to stay in Miami. Babbitt is a 3-point specialist that averaged just 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds for the Heat this season. Winderman believes that the Heat will let him walk if any other team offers him more than the minimum. He won’t have much fantasy value regardless of where he lands.
