Adam Himmelsbach reported on Thursday that the Celtics are likely to guarantee the last year of Amir Johnson’s $12 million deal.
They have until July 3 to do it and being short of big men this makes sense, more so if they don’t land Al Horford and/or Kevin Durant of course, but it’s a pretty good value at a position of need.
Hearing that it's likely the Celtics will guarantee Amir Johnson's $12 million contract for next season.
