The Lakers offered free-agent SG Dion Waiters a 1-year, $17 million contract.
Waiters turned down more money from the Lakers in exchange for a long term deal. He’s the best scoring option the Heat have and the offense will likely be run through him and Hassan Whiteside. With the Lakers, they are most likely going to be a sub .500 team once again and continue to focus on the youth movement with Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram. Waiters went with the place where he knew he was more valued, and that was the Miami Heat.
What a mistake that was!!!! Glad he chose Miami!
Haha, Brad, you’re digging into the old stuff here!
