• Alex Len
    C, Toronto Raptors

Alex Len has agreed to a deal with the Raptors in free agency, according to Shams Charania.

Len will join the Raptors as their backup center for the upcoming season. While the signing of Aron Baynes was a positive move for the team, Baynes' questionable health raised some concerns about the contingency plan should he go down. Len has been relegated to a streamer in standard leagues and while his role should be larger in Toronto than it was at the end of the year in Sacramento, the Raptors' tendency to split center minutes mean he likely still won't be relevant outside deeper leagues. The ability of both Len and Baynes to hit the 3 means they will fit within the Raptors' current scheme nicely. The team is clearly rolling the dice with these two at center for the coming year, but it could pay dividends long term.
