Maxi Kleber and the Mavs have agreed to a four-year, $35 million deal according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
The Mavs were hoping to reach a long-term deal with Kleber, and this certainly fits the bill. He'll be a key part of Dallas' frontcourt and is the closest thing they have to a stretch four. Fantasy owners should remember Kleber, as he was able to finish around the standard-league fringes in just 21.2 mpg. Kleber can provide rebounds, blocks and threes on solid percentages and this has the looks of a shrewd signing for Dallas. The final year will be a team option.
