Andrew Nicholson and the Wizards have agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal.
The Wizards are taking a flier on the skilled 26-year old Nicholson, signing him to what seems to be a bargain deal when compared to the other deals being signed these past couple of days. Nicholson was never really given a consistent role with the Magic, but he did show the ability to score and rebound. He’ll join a frontcourt with Marcin Gortat, Markieff Morris and newly signed Ian Mahinmi. He’ll be coming off the bench and won’t have much fantasy value outside of deeper leagues until he carves out a larger role for himself – which he has the ability to do so.
