Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Thunder intend to exercise their $1.5 million team option on Jerami Grant for the 2017-18 NBA season.
Grant was traded at the start of last season from the Sixers to the Thunder in exchange for Ersan Ilyasova and a protected pick. He came off the bench to average 19 minutes per game, along with 5.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. Grant is just 23 years old and has nice potential as a defensive presence.
