The Wizards and Bulls have agreed to a sign-and-trade that will send Tomas Satoransky to Chicago on a three-year, $30 million deal.
Satoransky finally got a chance to shine last season when John Wall was injured and he ended up delivering top-100 fantasy value over the final two months of the year while averaging 11.0 points, 6.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds after the All-Star break. Although Woj says that Satoransky will get a chance to start, it's not a great spot for him to land in terms of fantasy value because the Bulls already have Coby White and Kris Dunn rather than a wide open depth chart, and even if (when) Dunn moves on the future clearly lies with White. The Wizards got protections erased on a 2023 second-rounder that they obtained from Chicago for Otto Porter as well as the better of Memphis' or Chicago's second-rounders in 2020 and the right to swap a 2022 second-rounder.
