Harrison Barnes scored 15 points against the Clippers on Wednesday, but added just four boards, two assists and one triple to his line.
The poster boy for empty calorie fantasy contributions strikes again. To be fair, Barnes has flashed a more multifaceted game than many expected he was capable of, and his first year in Dallas has been reasonably successful in both real life and fantasy. That said, his upside is dramatically capped by his inability to produce in any money category at an above average rate. He’s a prime candidate to be overdraft this fall by owners seduced by points per game; don’t fall into that trap.
