Jeff Teague posted 23 points, four assists, four boards, one steal on 8-of-12 from the field, 2-of-3 from deep and 5-of-5 from the line in Monday’s loss to the Cavs.
Despite the scoring output Teague was exploited on the defensive end yet again. He was switched onto Lebron James and Kevin Love who took him to town as well as letting Kyrie Irving drop 37 points. It remains to be seen what adjustments Nate McMillan will make in order to better hide the point guard’s defensive liabilities in game three. Offensively he scored 15 in game one and now 23 in game two. The assists are low for a guy who averages almost eight per game during the regular season. Pacers have a chance to defend their home court Thursday.
