Coach Dwane Casey said on Tuesday that Kyle Lowry’s right (shooting) elbow injury is not the sort of ailment that will require a shutdown.
There is inflammation in the bursa sac and it might affect his shooting a bit, but as Casey put it, “There’s no reason to shut a player down for that.” A day off or two could be in the works, however, and owners should be rooting for the Raptors to stay close to Cleveland in the hunt for the No. 1 seed. They’re current three games back.
