Luke Babbitt was a surprise starter and logged 38 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks, scoring 16 points on 7-of-17 shooting (1-of-5 3PTs) with nine rebounds, three assists and one steal.
We’ll have to see another big minute outing out of Babbitt before we send any of you to a wire in reasonably sized leagues. These types of situations in which a team is completely depleted can yield funny results. But Babbitt will need massive minutes because of his poor fantasy stat set and if that starts to happen we’ll let you know. When Norris Cole comes back he’ll have a major hurdle to overcome in maintaining this type of minutes or production.
