Marcus Morris scored 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting (including three treys) with seven rebounds, four assists and one block over 40 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Sixers.
Morris maintained his late-round credentials even if his production has been more in the 14-16 team range over the last two weeks. If he can improve his field goal shooting to normal levels and hold off Stanley Johnson he’ll level out to that late-round value we’ve been talking about. Still, a low-upside guy like Morris that isn’t giving you the numbers without qualification is definitely somebody that owners can move off of at a moment’s notice.
