Amare Stoudemire says he will likely draw the start in Monday’s Game 4 against the Raptors.
Stoudemire hasn’t been good and we’re looking at Udonis Haslem as the safest play and his upside is very low, whereas Amare has a tiny bit more upside and much more risk so we like Haslem (a tiny bit) more. Josh McRoberts is the upside guy and he could very well go off for something like 14 points, four points, three assists and a steal while the other guys crater. His risk is off the charts and as you can see, his upside isn’t great either. We could see the Heat try to eke out 36 minutes with this group and look at playing either Luol Deng or even Justise Winslow at center when the Raptors also downside due to their injuries.
