Tonight we’re looking at A ten gamer which is one of the larger slates that we’ve seen in recent weeks. With over half of the game totals over 210, we should see some high scoring basketball and hopefully lots of competitive games. I will give my favorite over play at each position as well as my favorite value play.

Stud: Mike Conley $7200 DK, $7600 FD
Coming off a dud by his recent standards, Conley should go overlooked on tonight’s large slate. He draws the Raps who have not looked great at all on D recently and are on a second leg of a back to back. Conley has been playing major minutes the past few weeks and I expect that to continue tonight. Assuming the game stays close (the Raps will be without DeMar DeRozan), I like Conley’s chances at exceeding 40 fantasy points.
Value: Patrick Beverley $5300 DK, $5600 FD
Although not the most exciting offensive player, Beverley finds himself in a very fast paced matchup with the Celtics that comes in at the highest total of the night (229.5). We’ve seen Bev flash his ceiling a few times the past couple of weeks and this is the type of matchup I would expect to see a big game from him. He should be on the floor nearly all game checking Isaiah Thomas and should benefit from IT2’s non existent defense.
Stud: James Harden $12,300 DK, $12,100 FD
You can look to James Harden just about every slate that he is a part of but it’s not that often that he draws a matchup like tonight. The Celtics are seemingly involved in a shootout every game lately and the absence of Avery Bradley shouldn’t help things tonight. Harden should face little resistance tonight and is relatively easy to fit given all of the value on the slate.
Value: Norman Powell $3600 DK, $3500 FD
With DeMar DeRozan set to miss his second game in a row tonight, look for Norm Powell to draw the start again. We saw Powell absolutely crush his salary last night while playing 39 minutes – second only to Kyle Lowry. Given how thin the Raptors are at the position, look for Powell to play major minutes again tonight.
Stud: Jabari Parker $7200 DK,
After a game of coming off the bench, Parker returned to the Bucks’ starting lineup and put up a monster game while scoring 56 fantasy points. I typically wouldn’t love this matchup with the Sixers given how great they have been defensively lately, however, the absence of Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor should really open things up around the rim. Playing very safe minutes, I love Jabari’s chances at exceeding value tonight.
Value: Wayne Ellington $3900 DK
Although Wayne Ellington is not a guy I typically like playing, the matchup with the Brooklyn Nets has me examining all areas of the Heat tonight. With Tyler Johnson missing tonight’s game, Ellington should see another game with close to 30 minutes to work with. I have no issue taking a shot on him in a major pace up game as the Nets play at the fastest pace in the league.
Stud: I won’t be paying up at PF tonight.
Value: Nerlens Noel $4300 DK, $4100 FD
Like last night, Nerlens Noel will be an extremely popular play and for good reason. With both Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor ruled out, Noel will be splitting the center minutes with Richaun Holmes (also a very viable punt!). Although tonight’s matchup with the Bucks is difficult, Noel crushed a tough matchup with the Clippers last night. Look for him to play close to 30 minutes against tonight, which is too good to pass up at such a cheap price tag.
Stud: Anthony Davis $10,400 DK
At one of his cheapest price tags of the season, I think this is a great spot to target the Brow. This should be a relatively close game throughout and barring injury (which seems to happen more often than not), Davis should receive his full allotment of minutes. He doesn’t have a particularly easy matchup with Steven Adams down but should really have no problem racking up boards and buckets. Davis should also come at an ownership discount given his recent injuries.
Value: Guillermo Hernangomez $3400 DK
With the recent struggles of Joakim Noah, there have been rumbles that Hernangomez will finally get his opportunity for some real playing time. He has absolutely smashed in the games where he has received real run, which seems like a good possibility tonight. Although a matchup with the Mavericks isn’t the great spot for him, I will certainly be taking some shots for just $3400.
