DeMar DeRozan hit 10-of-32 shots (1-of-5 3PTs, 9-of-9 FTs) for 30 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in the Raptors’ 89-84 Game 7 win over the Pacers on Sunday.
It got ugly and then it got reallll ugly for the Raptors down the stretch, as DeRozan and Dwane Casey have a lot to answer for in terms of what they decided to run (or not run) down the stretch. The Raps got a big performance from rookie Norman Powell (13 points, three boards, three treys, 23 minutes) and Kyle Lowry (11 points, four rebounds, nine assists, one steal, 5-of-14 FGs) made a number of big plays.
If his elbow was impacting his shot we wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest. Jonas Valanciunas went for 10 and 15 with a block and DeMarre Carroll played 37 minutes and finished with three points on 1-of-6 shooting, four rebounds, two steals and two blocks. The Heat match up very well with them and they’re probably going to be installed as favorites by Vegas.
