Goran Dragic needed nine stitches after taking an elbow to the face in the Heat’s Game 2 loss to the Raptors, but was solid throughout and finished with 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting, two threes, four boards, four assists and one block.
Dragic, Dwyane Wade (leg, shoulder) and Hassan Whiteside (elbow) all got minor dings and their turnover problem (13 combined) was the difference in a game that Toronto begged them to take. Wade hit 7-of-17 shots for 17 points, six boards, three assists and a big three late, and Whiteside went for 13 and 13 with three steals and three blocks but could not stop Jonas Valanciunas when it mattered. Luol Deng was steady with 12 points, six boards, two steals, one block and two threes in the loss. The Heat need to heal up on the quick turnaround for Saturday’s Game 3.
