Joe Johnson hit 8-of-22 shots (0-for-6 3PTs) for 17 points, five rebounds and four assists over 41 minutes in Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Raptors.
Make no mistake this is a Joe Johnson series, whereas the presence of Kemba Walker made the last series a Josh Richardson (27 minutes, five points, four rebounds) series. Johnson gets a size advantage when the Raptors play small and they needed to dust off James Johnson when Joe got red hot in the third quarter. This game could have been a lot better if he hits a few more looks, particularly from deep, and we’re all about riding him in DFS throughout the series.
