Josh Richardson scored 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, one steal and one block in 22 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s Game 5 loss to the Raptors.
Richardson’s hot hand late almost brought the Heat back but he took one attempt too many, which is nitpicking but that’s the small margin of error the Heat had tonight with the way they were playing. Justise Winslow (eight points, seven rebounds, 33 minutes) was solid defensively but the Raptors are cheating off him in a big way — and there’s nothing the Heat can do about it because he needs to be on the floor. If Luol Deng (wrist) doesn’t play, give them both a bump up in your projections for Game 6.
