Mason Plumlee played 17 foul-plagued minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 win over the Warriors, finishing with five points, seven boards, two assists and one block.
That’s actually not bad for the terrible game he had. Plumlee has a serious problem with trying to make too many plays and he’ll need to get it under control because the Blazers need him to be good to have a chance in this series (if we’re assuming they have a chance). Ed Davis played 30 minutes off the bench and scored eight points with 10 boards, one steal and two blocks. It’s probably wise to keep expectations in check for Davis next time out, as Plumlee will probably bounce back a bit and bring Davis back down to normal levels of production.
