Al Horford scored 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with just one rebound to go with three assists, two steals and three blocks in the Hawks’ 121-108 loss to the Cavs in Game 3 on Friday.
Horford let Tristan Thompson work the glass and the lack of overall execution doomed the Hawks, who were sloppy for much of the night on both ends of the floor. Paul Millsap scored 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting with eight rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block, but his four turnovers and mental mistakes took some shine off of that. Kent Bazemore was limited to just three points on 1-of-5 shooting, four rebounds and two steals, and Jeff Teague was productive with 19 points, 14 assists and just one turnover.
